Epilepsy

Symptoms: Headache, Chest-Pain, and Rapid beating of Right Hand and Leg, Fits with many convulsions, Unconscious spells, not recognizing people during attack, Severe head-ache after attack, Body Pains.

The patient has written a letter as follows:

Before Treatment:
"While I was studying in 10th standard. During a singing competition, I suffered with heavy headache. At the same-time, my right hand started moving up and down rapidly, without my knowledge. Then my parents took to a Doctor. This Doctor stated that this is psychiatric problem. He referred to another Doctor (Psychiatrist). This Doctor has stated that this is not any medical problem and there is no need to use any kind of medicine and advised that when this problem occurs there is no need to use any medicine.

Later after coming back to home, I got Chest pain and convulsion of both hand and leg (on left side) started. At this stage some of the persons advised us to go to another Doctor. He gave certain medicines, due to which I came to back to normalcy for two to three days. But again the same symptoms repeated. Then I was taken to another Doctor, who kept me in hospital for 15 days. Then in about six months there was drastic change. But again the same problem reiterated more severely and long time. Now in a day seven to eight times the same problem is occurring both day and night. Later I was taken to another Hospital but it was all in vain.

During & after treatment:
