21 Yrs. Male, Wt: 51Kg.

Brief History : This  Patient suffered from Brain Tumor at the age of  5 years. He was operated for the same.  After that he was in better health till 15 years. Later he was attacked with fits, then he undergone C.T.Scan and blood tests on 2.5.2000. The outcome was he was suffering with HIV / AIDS positive and also Brain Tumor. Later he went to NIMS where Neurologist informed that Tumor was growing and he cannot be operated as he was infected with HIV / AIDS.  Then he approached our Institute.

Duration of Treatment:  Dt.9.5.2000 to Dt. 8.9.2000

Symptoms:  He suffered with symptoms like Headache, Loss of Appetite, Fits, Forgetfulness, Pains of Limbs, Urine Smell, Vision Problem, Left hand and limb pain, Deep anxiety, Sleeplessness, Suicidal ideas, Palpitation, Sweats of Palms, Diarrhoea, Cough.

Lab Investigations:  Before treatment he got Elisa Test done at Navya Nursing Home on 4.5.2000 where reports showed that he was infected with HIV positive – refer Dr.Raja Reddy (Neurologist).

After 15 days of treatment Anorexia, Weight Loss, Diarrhoea, Cough subsided. In about 3 months time, other symptoms like Anxiety, Palpitation, Urine Problem, Sleeplessness, Suicidal Idea, Sweats, Limb Pains, Vision problem, Forgetfulness etc. were completely cured. He was very happy free from mental tension.

 After 4 months treatment with all diet restrictions Dt.9.9.2000 he was tested at Sneha Poly Clinic & Pathology Lab done  Elisa Test HIV I & II – Negative. Again on 18.9.2000 at Kalinga Diagnostics centre  done Elisa test report showed for HIV I & II antibodies Negative ( non reactive) .

OUR OBSERVATION: This patient may be having viral load in hundreds per ml plasma, so HIV-I&II infection turn HIV Negative(-ve) with in 1 years. Same as above in Western Blot test HIV –I&II all bands turned HIV(-ve) Negative.
