Male, 24 –Unmarried, Merchant, Weight – 40 Kg.

Duration of treatment : 26.6.98 to 25.10.98. CONFIRMED BY ELISA & WESTERN BLOT TESTS FOR HIV INFECTION,

v                  His symptoms like Fever(1), Body Pains(12), Vomitings(17),    Abdominal Pains(21), Irritability(58), Loss of Weight (5), subsided within the period of 15 days to 30 days with good response. As usual he was put on strict vegetarian diet Restriction.

v                              CD4 & CD8 cell count report before treatment on 19.5.98 was 151 and 416. During the treatment of 3 ½ months i.e. as on 10.11.98  (Specialty Ranbaxy Ltd.) CD4 & CD8 – 183 / 1266. After treatment of two months on 14.12.98 – CD4 & CD8 – 227 / 1245.

v      His Western Blot Report Sneha Poly Clinic on 6.12.99, Just after 1 year 4 months showing out of 10 bands, 9 bands are negative and one band (P-17) has been positive for HIV-I antibody, HIV- II( –ve) Negative.

v      This person is found healthy and mentally alert. I am confident that he will be free from infection within one year without any doubt. After treatment he is free of symptoms. Response is good and weight gained by 18 Kgs.

OUR OBSERVATION: this patient may be having viral load in thousands per ml plasma, so HIV-I&II infection turn HIV (-ve) Negative with in 2 years. Same as above in Western Blot test HIV –I&II all bands turned HIV (-ve) Negative.
