(Female-24), Married – (Her Husband expired due to HIV / AIDS).She was confirmed through Elisa Test at NIMS  Hyderabad  found reactive to HIV-I and II antibodies. 

v      She had taken full course of treatment with usual vegetarian based diet restrictions  4 months from 11.11.1997  to 10.3.1998, and all her symptoms like Fever, weight loss, Abdominal pains, Limb Pains, Leuchorroea subsided within a period of 15 days to 30 days under our   Medication.

 v      After the treatment of one month her CD4 & CD8 cell count on 7.4.98 showed 321 & 1722, Normal with good response. After treatment of one year her CD4 as on 19.1.99 – 536.

v      Her latest Western Blot Test on 8.1.2000 showed HIV-II antibodies (Negative). HIV-I antibodies - out of 10 Bands, 7 Bands are NEGATIVE only 3 bands (P-55, G.P 120, GP-160) are positive on completion of her treatment within 1 year  10 months. It is expected that she would be totally free from the infection within  few months.

v      She is healthy & happy, She is doing her Husband’s Job as a Clerk at Public Sector Office. Her weight increased by 5 Kg.

 

OUR OBSERVATION: this patient  may be having viral load in Lakhs per ml plasma, so HIV-I&II infection turn HIV (-ve)Negative with in 3 years. Same as above in Western Blot test HIV –I &II  all bands turned HIV (-ve) Negative.
