FULL DETAILS OF THE MEDICINES USED
FOR HIV/AIDS PATIENTS.
HIV/AIDS, which is a global problem is the syndrome associated with depletion of
lymphocytes and profound cellular immuno deficiency. According to Ayurveda Aids is due to
disturbed normalcy of normal immune system. It is a venture to put before the medical
profession the drugs that can arrest and cure the diseases AIDS/Cancer formulated by Dr.P.S.V.Satyanarayana
and manufactured by G.P.Pharmaceuticals (Ayurvedic Research Medicine
Division), Hyderabad - 20 (A.P.) India.
The drugs Avalmic I, & II, which when taken into consideration the total internal
environment of body and recommends treatment for the whole system and the local condition
concurrently. They boost the vitality (immunity) of the individual. The drugs promote and
maintain the immune mechanism at the optimum level by raising the body's own defence
mechanism. This is also an ideal therapy in all immunological disorders including dreaded
diseases - HIV/AIDS, Cancer etc.
To get complete response in very advanced cases KAPHYOG & MEDHAMRUT
are also given for 2 to 4 Months following the usage of AVALMIC -I &
AVALMIC-II according to the condition.
NOTE - The most advantage of this medicine
(therapy) is one can use Allopathy medicine
simultaneously in the management of acute symptoms without any side effect, contra-
indicated with any Allopathy medicine.
DRUGS(CAPS): During the treatment the following drugs are given to the
patient : -
AVALMIC -I 200mg :-This combination of drug promotes and maintains the
immune mechanism by reducing the causative factor (virus) of the disease. So it is the
drug of choice for dreaded diseases like HIV/AIDS.
AVALMIC-II 250mg:-This combination of drug is indicated for repair of the
structure by destroying the virus and to promote physiological activity of the tissues. It
also purifies and restores the blood.
KAPH YOG200mg:-This drug Rectifies (reform) all mucous membranes in the
body after reducing the virus.
MEDHAMRUT 200mg :- This drug tones up Neural activity. It enhances
natural sleep, relieves insomnia, increases memory and enhances intellectual capacity.
DOSE AND COURSE:
ADULTS : 4 Months
CHILDREN: age x 6 days.
AVALMIC-I 200mg:
Adult : 1 cap twice a day for 2 months after break fast and dinner.
Children : 100 to 200 mg (½ to one cap) once or twice a day age x 3
days.
( i.e. if age is 3 years = 3 x 3 = 9 days.)
AVALMIC-II 250mg:
Adults : 1 cap once a day up to 4 months after lunch.
Children : 50 to 100 mg (¼ to ½ cap) once or alternate days up
to 1 - 2 months according to the age and severity of
the disease.
KAPHYOG -200mg:
Adults : 1 cap twice a day for 4 months after break fast and dinner.
Children : 50 to 100 mg (¼ to ½ cap) after breakfast or dinner up to 1
- 2 months .
MEDHAMRUT 200mg: After completion of AVALMIC-I
Adults : 1 cap twice a day for 2 months after breakfast and dinner
Children : 50 to 100mg (¼ to ½ cap) after breakfast or dinner upto 15
days to one month.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS & SIDE-EFFECTS :
No known contra- indications & side-effects.
DIET:
During the course of first 2 months the following diet should be taken:
BREAKFAST :
Idly, Pulca or bread with sugar and a glass of milk with sugar.
LUNCH AND DINNER:
Rice or any food with out oil, chilly, salt, pickles and Non- Vegetarian. Take each meal
only with ½ litre of Buffalo- Butter Milk whichis thick, sweet, with out butter and not
sour. Fruits (which is sweet) sour are not advisable.
We have taken cases which were declared positive by ELISA, WESTERN BLOT AND VIRAL LOAD
tests, where CD4 absolute count decreased. By using these drugs CD4 absolute count came
back to normal with in 4-6 months after commencement of treatment. Gradually viral load
comes down to absolute NEGATIVE within 1 to 3 years i.e. if the viral load per each ml of
blood numbered in hundreds in a patient; With the use of medicine it will turn into HIV
negative in one year; On the other-hand if it is in thousands in 2 years, in lakhs - in 3
years. But symptoms disappear completely within 2 to 3 months. In case of Western Blot
also all bands will come to negative depending upon the number of bands as explained above
(Viral Load).
CLINICAL IMPRESSION SUPPORTED BY DATA - HIV/AIDS:
By the end of 1stand 2nd week malaise (feverishness) subsides completely and appetite is
regained, if the patient is not having associated diseases like Cancer, T.B., Malaria,
Typhoid etc. By the end of 2nd week or 3rd week all the symptoms like nausea, vomiting,
loose motions, headache, anxiety, neuralgia etc. subsides except some skin and other
problems. By the end of 3rd week there will be weight gain. By the end of 2nd & 3rd
month all the symptoms completely subside. Gradually viral load comes down to negative
within 1 to 3 years depending upon the viral quantity as explained above. CD4 will be
normal within 4 to 6 months.
